when are morons like eastforktiger going to quit being whiny bitches about les miles? especially when the man has proven himself with 10+ winning seasons 4 out of 6 seasons. as much as we like to call ourselves a great and knowledgeable fanbase, leave it to the rant to find the ones that don't have a clue about successful football.

Immediately after the Tennessee game last year, I would have agreed with you.

But you know the weirdest thing happened: we (LSU fans) have had a miserable off season between basketball and baseball.

It makes Miles look pretty damn good. At the very least, LSU is competitive in the SEC and particpates in a bowl every year.

My point - Miles is not what I would consider a "problem".

I have a feeling there are goinh to be some dissapointed crowton haters come seasons end.
Yes I believe the right decision was made to let him go however until a competent qb comes along that can make plays and the right decisions when they matter most, things on offense are gonna change very little if any, wait and watch.

Crowton was considered the #1 offensive coord. In the country, by some publications, following the nc. If Crowton would have had a good qb, he would have done fine. I agree he needed to go due to the circumstances of not having a qb who is capable of running the offense, but to say the Crowton is a bad cood. Is simply not true. Crowton's new team will have better offensive numbers than LSU next season. Guaranteed.

I fear bojangles is correct. Until we have a serviceable QB, Bill Walsh could be the o coordinator and it wouldn't matter.

Four 11 win seasons out of 6, a Top 5 winning percentage among BCS schools since 2005, and a Top 8 program in 2010 are not "problems" in the minds of any sane/reasonable LSU fan.

So when is it not the offensive coordinator's responsibility to develop players on his offense? He was the closest thing we had to a QB coach yet all three of his QB's couldn't develop into suitable SEC starting calibur QB's? I wonder why Les put such a huge emphasis in hiring a new coordinator who is also a QB coach.

That's not saying much. He's now going against ACC defenses after 4 years of seeing the best defenses in the country in the SEC.

Just like people were happy when Jimbo Fisher moved on. What do you think about him now?

Thanks Coach!

I guess we'll see who's offense puts up better numbers next season to determine if Crowton was the real problem.

Crowton will have a great year at Maryland. He is taking over an offense that has been coached by a great teacher in a conference that isn't very good on defense. Over time they will get worse and worse as his ability to teach and get the offense to execute comes into play.

Agreed as for Maryland's offense I think the passing O will be better than LSU's unless for some reason JJ is not the starter by week 4. JJ starts all year Maryland definitely finishes ahead in total offense and passing offense.

I love this. Miles' fault for having a shitty offense, but not his fault for having 2 of the most prolific offenses LSU has ever had.

Ill get back to you when they actually win something. Jimbo is sitting on a gold mind from a recruiting stand point. But if they dont start wrecking a very very weak acc, it doesnt mean shite. FSU has been the most talented team in the acc for years. Besides this makes no sense. He was going to leave at some point, hence he is a head coach.

True

And folk will be badmouthing Krag if we are not dominating opponents and our offense is not flying like an f-15. That's what LSu fans want: complete domination.

Why LSU was 11-2 with Crowton and won 20 games over past 2 seasons with him...

it took you four months to summon the courage to pontificate on Crowton's departure?
