I’m here to take what’s coming…just how bad should I feel right now.

Let me set the stage first. I live in Bossier. We have always gone to 2 games a year. We usually took the kids to an out of conference game every year and the wife and I would go to an SEC matchup. Kids are grown now. In 2019 they started paying their own way.

This year we traded in the kids for taking my 5 y/o grandson to out of conference game and then wife and I went to Ol Miss game. We had big party lined up for the Bama game. Kids coming over and a few friends. Already had ribs and brisket rubbed down in fridge waiting to be smoked on Saturday.

I get a call Friday night from a good friend with season tickets. He had the flu and wasn’t going to be able to make the game. Offered me the tickets for $100 each. Lower bowl section 210.

I turned them down. As happy as I was as a tiger fan when Taylor made the 2 pt play….I also wanted to vomit knowing I could have easily been there.

These types of things always eat at me. I’d be bummed if I had face value tickets and didn’t go. I have a bad “fear of missing out” when it comes to LSU football. Hell, I get anxiety at times when I want to go to a game badly, but Friday night HS games or some event on Saturday morning keeps me at home 8 hours away.

Bottom line, Tigers won…and you hopefully had a great time at home?

That party better have been top frickin notch!

At the end of the day you still got to watch LSU take down Bama with your family, and that’s fantastic.

Don't let it get to you. The game could have gone another way, you just never know. I went to Astros game and had to follow the game on my phone. Thank God for DVR haha

Yeah, I had tickets to the 1997 Florida game. But I was a senior on my HS team and for some dick reason we had a game on that Saturday night instead of the usual Friday. I was injured and not playing anyway. I should’ve gone to the LSU game.

Your presence may have made the team choke. Be glad you stayed home.

Listened to a guy at work gives his tickets away on Thursday, we are in a turnaround. Friday afternoon, his boss tells him to take the weekend off. I thought he was going to blow a gasket. He kept saying, "I wouldn't be pissed, but I think they're gonna win".
