Jefferson can only throw when the threat of run is there. Lee can throw at any time. That's the difference between the two.

Using JJ on the option runs and play action passes is about all the action he should see. He adds some useful wrinkles and it looks like he excels at the backup QB role.

It is also my opinion that only through the use of some wildcat formations will we beat Alabama.

I look at it another way... Saban wanted Nutt maybe because he knew he couldn't hold the rope therefore making himself look better

I coached my son's T-ball team(asst. 1b coach, thank you,) and I believe that Lee's only interception this year was actually a cleverly designed punt. I also believe that he is this years Matt -Mauck or Flynn(not racist.)

I do admit that his lack of interceptions is amazing.

2 years as a high school coach. This is PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are such an egotistical moron. Let me break it down for you.

I do admit = shows some rational thinking
his lack of ints. = he is playing way above his head.
you are amazed = you have no clue this kid has matured and is the best QB on this team.

WOW!!!! You are the cream of the crop. Don't forget you need to be back at the hospital at 6pm.

LSU made seben. While seben was at Mich. State he noted Louisiana no. 1 State for NFL players also per capita. He requested (not LSU) to interview for Head LSU football coaching position. Charlie Reems LSU Board of Supervisors will verify my preceeding statement.
Upon being named the LSU football coach and at his press TV introduction he excused himself and went into the bathroom and then asked himself, 'Do I really want to do this'.
This is further amplified by after losing to Univ. of ala. Birmingham his first year he went running into into his office where Jimmy Sexton his agen was and started yelling or crying, 'Why did you ever get me into this F______ School!

Without Jefferson playing a huge role (I support starting him but I was inexplicably ridiculed for that position), LSU will not beat Alabama. I think we'll win, but we'll win due to Jefferson not Lee.

From when you started posting in Sept. 2011 and 400 or so post I view you as a trouble maker and not a true TIGER!! I'm going to scream my lungs out for what ever qb Les puts on the field. If you even watched the game last year you would know that both qb's were un replaceable . Please let the real fans enjoy the game.

I see, being a "True Tiger" means being a sycophant.

BTW, did you ever eat at "Barbara's Burgers" in Bells before it closed? Best inexpensive hamburgers ever!

You should watch a game this year before you say something stupid like that.

I want LSU to win. Thus, I'm trying to avoid all the hype that increases here every day. It went from "it will be a close game" to talk of a massacre or "waxing" of Alabama's arse. Reality check: It will be a close game and we'll be fortunate to win.

It is on the road.

We need more Jefferson and less Lee (get the Jefferson and Lee reference?)

We need a more wide open offense.

We need to not start Mathieu and Ware since they missed the last game. Don't underestimate the rust factor.

In my two years as a high school coach, I learned how to win the tough road games. It isn't easy.

How does Jefferson give us a more "wide open" offense?

The only reason Jefferson is not starting is because of his suspension.

He's not suspended now, why isn't he starting?

He wasn't benched because he wasn't the best QB.

So why isn't he starting now?

It is my opinion (and I coached HS football for two years) that Jefferson is the best QB on the team and that he would match up against Alabama very well.
