Wasn't Wade shitting the bed during conference play as well? A year ago or whenever he was here, posters were calling for his head because he couldn't win the games that matter.

Wades teams made the NIT in his first year and 4 straight NCAA tournaments. Any poster not happy with this record has an extremely unrealistic expectation of LSU basketball.
On the other hand, the current team may not be able to beat the most inept teams of the Trent Johnson and Johnny Jones era.

He got us to the tournament, had the best recruiting class in years.
His team beat Woody's basketball head coach every year. Woody's first basketball HC (A&M) beat his second basketball coach (LSU).
