Is the admin afraid of wade coaching during the biggest basketball tourney ? He can say no comment or do like coach bell in blue chips presser after the lose.

The trial starts on April 22.

When called, he will undoubtedly plead the 5th.

Then he will refuse to talk to LSU about why he had to do that.

Then he will be terminated.

Only will plead the 5th if his words make him guilty of a crime, and He may not testify as has been said previously because he may not provide anything to the prosecution or defense of relevance.

If LSU terminates him for pleading the 5th, is that with cause? What if he tells LSU that he plead the 5th because he didn't want to be accused of perjury if he accidentally misspoke(due to forgetting the details) or contradicted another sworn testimony that is later determined to be more accurate? Will LSU press him for more information essentially forcing him out?

I'm not saying his situation is good, but he needs to stand his ground (unlike LSU vs the media) and wait on the facts to unfold. Media info dumps from unnamed sources that are not official records are not evidence of wrong doing. A "strong arse offer" could be anything (not being naive, just thinking in terms of proving guilt)... Playing time, play calling to increase shot opportunities, increased media access for branding, family access for practices...

To suspend under these circumstances only hurts everyone involved and in NO WAY protects LSU from possible sanctions. The season has been played other than the tourneys. If the NCAA lightens the possible burden on LSU for the WW suspension, it shows selective rule enforcement based on perception. If a rule has been broken, there's no way to un-break it with a PR stunt.

Then Wade may or may not be called as a witness in an investigation around other people.

It doesn't matter. Regardless of whether he testifies or not, it nothing else comes from the legal side, he and LSU are in the sights of the NCAA. None of this bodes well for us.

Why would Wade need a plea deal? He isn’t being investigated.

There 2 theories on this, either the NCAA won’t cone because if we are guilty and the players start spilling about all their offers from other teams the NCAA will be burning down their own house. The second is a major shift is happening and the NCAA is behind it which pertains to a couple other cases currently going on and is a very long story.

The judge didn't allow the tapes to be admitted as evidence. WW doesn't get called to testify.

I sadly believe we have seen the last of WW as LSU Basketball’s Head Coach. I’m afraid that even if he was allowed to return to coaching here, he wilI have no desire to remain working with and under an incompetent administration who clearly doesn’t have his back when problems arise and I truly can’t blame him. If am indeed correct in my assumptions, I only pray he doesn’t wind up at Bama.

Not sure why people assume this is a given... A judge has already ruled the argument that Dawkins' lawyer is trying to make as irrelevant
