Actually, some fans that watch the game coach, that's why it's frustrating to watch. As a head coach you should be ahead of the game with your decisions, not holding your team up because your watching the game like the average fan.

Only the last sentence is brilliant satire.

I wish to god he had a little less entertainment value and replaced that with serious -- dare I say, "Saban-esque" -- tyrannical world view.

I ain't gonna lie ... I know CLM is a different animal ... but, I like it when some kid at Bama makes a mistake during garbage time in the 4th and Saban comes unglued.

Often times, one of our players makes a mistake ... muffs a punt or something ... they show CLM and looks like he is looking for a hot dog vendor.

But ... like I said, it doesn't seem like yelling at players is CLM's style....but, seems to me like a lot of LSU fans like that style (which is more like little nicky).

I would rather the head coach jump a players arse for fumbling instead of benching him

Have him grow a mean steak; for him to prepare and coach EVERY GAME as if it were BAMA and play not to win but to demoralize and break every opponents will to retake the field.

If he does this, there won't ever be a time management problem, or any of the previously mentioned issues.

For me ... it depends...

if a player is trying and makes a mistake ... rip him new one ... give a "c'mon now" ... and then give him a chance to redeem ... and if yes, then praise even more post-game.

if a player is being lazy and/or just making too many mental errors... then bench him for an unspecified amount of time, depends.

you're right and this is something a lot of people take with issue with.

Well, I think Miles hung a yr too long with Gary, but other that I don't really see how we could have handled things any differently.

I mean, what could LSU do with the stuff that happened to Kragthorpe and his family? The results of that problem and the amazing regular season of 2011 pretty much dictated what followed till we got Cam.

Cam seems to be working out, but the rest of this season and next will give us a better idea as to how well its working out.

I would like to see a more disciplined team (less false starts, delays of game, etc.).

I agree...just not on the first carry of a game and after he recovered his own fumble
