re: If you are one of those that believes LSU does not have a talent issue ask yourself this.

I think you are saying talent rules

Great talent + Avg coaching wins games

Avg talent + Great coaching May-May not

What I am certain I am uncertain of is your point. Pls bring it home for us like there is no tomorrow.

I think that Bryce Young would be challenged somewhat with a weak left side of the O line and a dearth of RBs.

Interesting that nobody has mentioned the spot where talent and coaching meet.
You could be trying to run a scheme by Denbrock or Sarkisian on one side or Smart or House on the other. Bigger/Stronger/Faster should win, right?
What Coached Up elite TALENT allows - no matter the scheme - is elite EXECUTION. If the player isn't Coached Up to execute his exact responsibilities, less talent that is Coached Up then executes can prevail.
Relentless competence from an elite skill set on each assignment on every single play allows God given talent to show. Think Sacks, TFL's, Pancakes, open field tackles, broken tackles, contested catches etc...
It's all about Execution, baws.

But it seems BK did more with less at NOTRE lame...now he has more talent but winning less how could that be?

Easy to understand, your initial assumptions are off base, that is "how it can be".

On two separate occasions BK brought what you call a "doing more with less" Notre Dame team into bowl games and beat LSU teams that were vastly more talented than the present LSU football team.

Yes, the potential for accumulation of a more talented roster is higher at LSU than ND. But, we are not there yet.

The problem with your premise is that BK has more talent this year at LSU than he has previously had at ND.
