If we win the title this year

I really fear that I’ll be so overwhelmed with a sense of finally overcoming the horror of 1/9/12 and the atrocities that happened after, along with the most pride I’ve ever felt regarding LSU coming to a head, that the tears may flow freely. Does that make me a bitch? If so, I don’t even care. I can’t be the only grown man who feels this way.

I almost turn to mush every time now. I never expected to feel this way over football. I didn't feel like this in 2003 or 2007. Not even 2011. Not the Saints superbowl win in 2009, either. I really feel like having dealt with and lived through all the head banging heartache and frustration since 1/9/12 and the resulting embarrassing skid against Bama since then has led me to be so much more appreciative of what this year is shaping out to be. Even if we have some mind-numbing collapse on 12/28, I'm still so grateful for what Burrow has done for the program. He and Brady have opened up LSU for business with quarterbacks and offensive recruits. It's so unbelievably beautiful and I'm so happy.
Joe Burrow and Ed O both say they know how much they and this season means to the fans but I don't think they fully grasp the enormity of it all.
