It's interesting that the poster refuses to see the the improvements to the LSU team yet assumes other teams will be better

We haven’t “seen” any improvements. We hope the O line will be good, we hope QB will be good, we hope a RB will step up, we hope WR plays to their potential. But at this point that’s all it is, hope. We have no real evidence that there has been any real improvement.

When we actually play, if the improvements we all hope are there actually are there, then I’ll have a little more optimism.

But like others have said, O has given us no reason to believe in him or that he can lead a program, so show us.

Until he does I will pull for the tigers but remain skeptical that O can lead us to where we want to go.

Yet you're willing to give other teams the benefit of the doubt. It's not a good look. Like I said people should just bookmark all of the crappy posts to pull up later and ridicule.

I'm sure that he's losing sleep over your opinion.

Las Vegas loses more money in the first three weeks of CFB each season due to the unknown aspects of new athletes.

Yes. Look at the teams we play. Their coaches have earned the benefit of the doubt.

Saban is proven

Fisher is proven

Smart is proven

Mullen is proven, though to a lesser extent but he has more talent at UF than at state

Richt is also a proven winner with multiple division and conference championships on his belt.

Sorry but until he proves otherwise, O doesn’t even belong in the conversation with those guys.

That’s 5 teams right there with talent on par with LSU but significantly better coaches.

And I didn’t even bring up AU. And Gus is about even with Miles as a head coach. Still better than Ed (yes Ed beat him last year, but Miles has victories over Saban and Urban, and no one would suggest he’s a better coach)

I dont understand how anyone can say with a straight face, that Etling was better Mettenberger .If you had to make a highlight video for Etling , what exactly would you show ?

I just don’t see how anyone could be so confident when our HC and OC are both proven failures at their current positions.
Confident... no. Optimistic and nervous? Yes. I think by the night before the game, most of us will have plotted out the course for a championship run, like we've always done.

The "tough schedule" just means we don't face a UCF scenario; if we can run the table, we're in. If we're good enough to win a title, we're good enough to win these games.

Jimbo Fisher went 5-6 last year and is taking over a aTm team that hasn't beaten LSU since they joined the SEC

Please hang your hat on that game this season.

Dan Mullen went 4-4 in the SEC last year. Florida went 4-7 last year

Please count on this one too.

Bama is Bama

Kirby Smart is doing well.

Gus well we'll just have to see won't we.

Marc Richt is an excellent coach. I believe that LSU's defense will smother Miami.

I see two potential losses. Georgia and Bama.

Are you actually suggesting that Onis a better coach because FSU has a bad year?

And yes Mullen went 4-4 and one of those wins was a 30 point blowout against Ed. Now he has significantly more talent at Florida.

I wouldn’t be so quick to assume Florida will be the same dumpster fire under Mullen.

Dude, I never said Etling was bad. I just think Mett was better. You act like I'm attacking the kid.

It’s weird to think we might be in the final days of this period of skepticism toward O by the fans.

I'm not suggesting anything of the kind but O and Fisher don't take snaps from center. From everything I can see LSU has a chance to be special. Keep bashing all you want. It just makes you look bad.
