Brother, I realize that you would try and have his baby and all but, with all of his wins, ribbons, trophies and glory the old horse needed to be put to pasture.

I think him and admire him and all that he stands for. At times, LSU won because of him and at times, LSU won despite him. One thing is for certain, LSU was trending in the wrong direction. I will take the Dline coach and staff that Miles built. The ol' coach had to go.

if he was in tge top 20 its ludicrous.

ed orgeron wouldn't be im Vandy's top 5 for Defensive Coordinator.
could you ever imagine Bama hiring ed orgeron after Saban?

shite happens in coaching searches and hiring a head coach that makes that much money

no shite. which is why you try to hedge your bets on the hiring. you try to find a guy thats run a successful p5 program, then a guy thats run a successful mid major, then a guy thats had success running a side of the ball.

you dont hire someone that cant get coordinator job offers.

Like I said earlier the stupid shite that happened at the aTm game in 2015 by the fans that save Miles arse probably hurt us in that area more than anything.

you do realize the fans had frick all to do with that right? the optics of lsu firing and paying huge buyout during state budget talks was the reason for that. they even told us that

Meh. He’s a better coach than his replacement.

That is still to be determined but the questions was, "If we had to go 9-3, why did we fire Les Miles". Please try and pay attention and stay focused.

Miles needed to go...end of story. I mean they hired a dline coach for god's sake that put up the same record as him.

You see how that works?

byu- 9 losses
Syracuse-8 losses
Florida- 7 losses
tenn- 8 losses

I pretty sure that O proved that already but.....ok???

You really should let this go, man. Look what it's doing to you...it's taking a toll on you. It's killing you.

Repeat after me.....Miles is gone and he is never coming back. He was a good coach but he is NEVER coming back.

no its the hypocrisy.

people like you, trout, mad, and peej did NOTHING but shite on the most accomplished coach in lsu coach WITH YOUR OPINIONS.
now you get vag in a wad when someone posts OBJECTIVE facts about ed orgeron.
we hired such a bad coach that jist posting his actual resume is considered bashing him

[quote]rdless. you dont fire one of the most accomplished coaches in sec history and then procede to hire someone thats never in his life proven he can run a successful side of the ball, let alone a successful program.[/quote

So you disagree with him being fired bc of the hire we made?

posting facts never bother me. you on the other hand have a problem reading amd reacting to facts. its what happens when your football ignorant opinion is proven to be ignorant.

let me make it clear.

We needed new blood.
If that new blood was going to be the most unqualified hires in big 6 history, then ill take the coach thats actually proven he can run a successful program. if you disagree then yoir just admitting you hate miles more than you love lsu.

missing the point homer.....a loss is a loss no matter how you frame it up.

It would not have made me "feel better" to lose to State by 7 or whatever.

I’m saying LSU needed to make a change. We knew Miles wasn’t changing or adapting. The last coach that did that was DiNardo.

Now if you told me the coach we replaced Miles with will go .500 and we won’t make Bowl games I would keep Miles...here is the kicker...you can’t! No matter how bad the hire is you can’t predict the future and say definitively the next coach won’t be as successful as the previous coach

For goodness sake, man. Can the guy complete on full season before you denounce his entire body of work here?

I'm not going through Miles body of work to look for a similar season because that is not fair to him nor is it O's fault that these teams dropped as many games as they did. But, I'm confident Miles would have had 3 losses or more this year.
