I was sort of hoping that Tyrann would stick with 14 and make it his own.

Same with Ware, 16 looked good on him and its not a number that you normally see on a badass player. I would have liked for either a wr or a linebacker to have taken 7 so that a db wouldnt have to live up to PP7's lofty expectations, although I guess a wr still could take it since hes on offense.

I'm torn on whether I like him trying to carry the tradition or think it is too loft expectations for any one player to take on.

Serious question:

Who would you rather have...PP7 or TM7?

and you can't say both.

As a freakish of an athlete PP7 is and as good of a shutdown corner is he, TM7 is a turnover-generator and has great coverage skills. In college football, I have to take Honey Badger.

TM7 and its not even close. The guy causes disruption on the whole offense. PP7 shuts down a team's best receiver.

So what you're saying is you would rather have JaMarcus russel at quarterback than any other QB bc nobody will go higher than he did in the draft?

NFL ability/projection has absolutely nothing to do with College football. There have been numerous great NFL players who were nobody's in college, and there have been numerous great College players who never made it to the NFL.

Your post makes it fairly certain that you "don't.. understand football."

I have to go with PP7. its close
TM7 plays his role as perfectly as PP7 played his, but in the end, TM7 really can't hold a candle to PP7 in the return game.

TM7. He effectively plays Offense and Defense.
