Of course the rankings don't mean anything right now interms of postseason. It's just nice to see the media saying that we're currently the best team.

Rankings only matter in one college division in one sport.

If LSU sweeps, it will have answered a lot of questions people had about them coming into the weekend.
For me, I wanted to see them not be a singles-hitting team against SEC teams. I'm still not 100 percent convinced because a lot of the power this weekend is because Katz is on a hot streak no hitter can maintain, but no doubt that the long ball has been a big reason why they won the weekend.
