I really never understood why it took so long for lavin to get another chance

Why would Lavin leave the basketball "mecca" of the upper northeast to come to a traditionally weak b-ball state, in a weak conference/divison?
Thats like Muschamp leaving Florida next year to go coach at Indiana

Im surprised that more schools haven't tried to hire him or Chris Collins from Duke. I dont see Collins leaving b/c he probably feels that he is next in line to replace Coach K.

Anderson from Mizzou! I love that run and gun style.

REALLY? He is 70 and drawing social security. If you were to hire him, how long would you expect him to be around?

Was more just goofing with the thought of Nolan I realize his time had past. Probably should have said even if we hired old as Nolan Richardson at least the team will be a hell of alot more exciting and competitive not to mention you know the coach would be involved.
I realize there are much better candidates available just dont want to get my hopes up unless Trent is really on the way out

Is 80 years old, be serious guys. I started this thread to start discussion about possible replacements for Trent if he goes to UTAH.

He's still got it!

The only right answer to this question is Billy Kennedy at Murray State.

Apparently no one wanted to touch him after how he underachieved so badly at UCLA.
Looks like he is really bringing in some serious talent at St. John's, but then again, it's not like he never had talent at UCLA.

And btw, what about Brad Stevens?

Signed a 10 year deal with Butler last year that pays his really good. He is from Indiana loves it at Butler and I dont really see him leaving for anywhere outside of a top tier Big-10 school.
A SEC school would have to pay him VERY, VERY GOOD money to get him.
