play any different would they? I mean they wouldn't "be gentle", "careful" or anything to not get bogus calls, etc.

I'm sure that the coaches won't let them do that, that the D won't WANT to do that and it's probably a silly question.

BUT it's been brought up about the possibility refs "going easy" and giving Tebow more protection if he plays.

???

I'm sure they'd be MORE jacked if he plays. They will want to crush his skull in.

If Tebow's cleared to play, it's game on. His coaches and doctors know this.

If Tebow is cleared to play, this means that he is supposedly free of all concussion symptoms and the effects have worn off. It is not up to the players to decide if he truly has any lingering effects or not. They will play as though he is 100% healthy and hit him as hard as they possibly can.

I promise you that if Tebow suffers a second concussion, it is not Harry Coleman or Rahim Alem who gets the blame, it's the neurologist who told Meyer that it was fine for him to play.

If he plays the first third and short LSU D line needs to leave a nice hole with a line backer and safety a few yards back to Jack his arse up once he gets a running start.

Not to worry...we will have plenty of medical staff available to examine any tigers who get their bell rung when Tebow lowers his shoulders and plows into them..sending them 3 yds back.

Given that the Tigers have to effectively game plan to 2 completely different kinds of QB's is to UF's advantage. Brantely's arm strength is certainly not in question and the Tigers can't rush the passer.

We do, but at the same time, it's not as pronounced as some think. Neither QB is going to be the hard-nosed runner that Tebow traditionally is.

if tebow plays, the defense will try to knock his arse out again, as would any defense in the same situation

Not really. UF cant totally change their entire offense in 2 weeks just to match the playing style of Brantley. They may change stuff up a bit but no drastic changes are possible.

If Tebow plays he is going to get hurt cause your defense is sssssssssoooooooooooooooooooo big and mean. They hit alot harder than ANY other defense Tebow has faced in his ENTIRE football career.

I bet he is pissing in his pants right now. Jeez this is not gonna be pretty.

As they should! Seriously, any team that see's blood in the water turns into a shark and attempts to destroy its prey- speaking in legal, hard hits.

The problem is that they might have to. Especially in order to keep the running game alive. People don't have to respect Brantley running the ball the same way that they do with Tebow. Not only is Florida going to be missing the hard-earned yards that Tebow provides, they're also going to be able to focus more on Demps, Rainey, and Moody with the knowledge that the QB is not a real threat running the ball. This can only hurt their production.

Wow. The hit caused him to lose muscle control? That was more serious than I thought, then.
