LSU was on board to bring back WW and fire MM but the SEC commish shut it down, politics at it finest. Granted, LSU should not have fired Wade to begin with IMO, but again, that was essentially to save the football program, more politics. At this point, roll MM out there one more season and in the meantime, start looking for the next coach.

When you look at McMahon's record, how could anyone say the hire wasn't a horrible decision.

'Hiring McMahon' has (thus far) been a horrible decision. But that doesn't mean that 'firing Wade' was a horrible decision as well.

Wade had to go. We just haven't nailed the 2nd half of the equation yet.
