What happens to the recruits committed for next year? Are these offers/scholarships still honored?
Asking because there is a local kid I’ve watched grow up in the area and he is committed to LSU for next baseball season.

IMO most of these recruits are wanting to play for LSU, not Pulmonary. They'll stay committed and wait to see who the next coach is.

Most, if not all, will be here next year unless they take a pro offer. Very excited about a few coming in next year, too - should have 1-2 that step right onto the field for help.

It’s possible we could lose 1 or 2 if they really love Pawl that much. But the flip side is maybe the new coach will have 1 or 2 guys follow him to LSU as well

Haha. Okay cool. Just making sure the new coach can’t like eliminate scholarships and recruit other people.

Typically, the players want to play for LSU no matter who the coach is. A certain number of players are typically processed out of the system as they are every year if there is someone better. Typically when coaches are released, they don’t have time to re-recruit all of the players, as those recruiting relationships develop over many years.

Honestly think it could be the other way around. What happens to recruiting if Woodward let’s Pm stay another year?

What’s your point? We should keep a bad coach because some recruits like him?

Good point, it’s not like colleges ever switch coaches. We would be the first in NCAA history.

Don't matter, when Mike Bianco steps on campus, his recruits are coming

This is absolutely NOT my point.

I just wanted to make sure the incoming coach would honor the new recruits coming in. That he couldn’t take away their scholarships from Paul m.
That’s it! Geessshhh
