i feel like CEO needs a full recruiting season, full regular offseason and a full season next year to be really evaluated

this year is just a shite show but defections, staff change over, covid etc are hard to argue

we will see

Pelini isnt getting fired this year. Take your blood pressure meds and calm down. If the defense isnt lights out by the middle of year 3, expect Pelini to be fired at the end.
It's just incredibly hard to teach a new system to a gutted roster suited for a 3-4. You need patience. Until the middle of year 3 comes around, keep sharpening that pitchfork

Pelini has a $7 mil buyout. I doubt he's going to be allowed to fire Pelini

4.5 after this season but I agree.

I think he’s definitely here MAX one more season though.

Bo must go. If O keeps Bo then O must go.

If O doesn’t get rid of Pelini, O won’t be the one making the next DC hire.

As a head coach, O has the right to have "his guys" as his assistants. That said, if/when they don't produce, he should be held accountable, as they were "his guys" and he failed to make changes when it was clear to everyone else that they were not working out.

I understand what you're saying, but I just haven't seen any improvement defensively. What concerns me is once things turn in a negative direction and a correction is not made immediately, it can devastating effects that can bring a program down for years to come. At LSU, there are high expectations to contend for SEC/NC championships every year and failure to take quick action could majorly derail the program.

Next year he better be back on the 10-2 type of trajectory. Anything short of that and the seat will start to get hotter with every additional loss.
