you commenting on being competitive is even more.

You have no clue what it takes.

You think Joe Burrow would have turned down that shot, Jethro? frick no. Do you know who would? Some guy who will be a grad coaching assistant in 5 years.

A scholarship player should never be able to choose to sit out a game to save a redshirt. I can't fathom anyone turning down an opportunity.

So, in your mind, all the difference in the world as to whether Nuss has a good college career or not is based on playing/not playing in that one game?

Your argument about practice is negated by the fact that he actually practiced during that time. So all he really missed was playing in the bowl game.

I said he would have given himself a boost in the quarterback race had he gotten that start and experience.

He could not have possibly gotten the same amount of practice he would have gotten if he were to be the starting quarterback. They had to give Kirklin the bulk of the preparation.

He didn't get much practice, they had to get a WR ready to play. That's exactly how this works when you have to rush someone into position to play.

You know, because he opted out.

We now know he's not a competitor.

We don't know crap.
The Sports Illustrated reporter, Glenn West, who keeps up with the Tigers, reported that Nuss is second in the QB race.
The guy has no interest in who is the starter, just the facts.
Apparently Nuss is taking advantage of his opportunity to move up the ladder.

Nobody gives a shite about that bowl game! I would have been pissed if he had wasted time and eligibility on that stupid game.

correct. We only had half our team, different coaches than he'd have in the spring, and Nuss would've blown a year of eligibility.

All for a shite bowl after a disastrous 6-6 season, and we ended up getting shelled by a shitty Kansas State team in that crappy bowl.

No rational person should be mad at Nuss. He absolutely did the right thing.

If Nuss ever becomes QB1, which I think is a distinct possibility after this year, everyone will be trilled that he didn't burn a year of eligibility in the bowl game.

It would have made a huge difference.

I’m repping my #13 Kirklin jersey all season.

He let his team play with a WR as QB in a bowl game to preserve an extra year of eligibility.

This is a dumb question.
