What is ridiculous about discussing the outlook of our baseball team on an LSU Sports message board?
I’m grateful for all Paul has done, but it may be time to go in a different direction. Not trashing or disrespecting his accomplishments here

Saying this before the season starts is just plain silly judging a team before the season starts.
Same as saying O goes if we don't get into the CFP or Wade does not get into the final 8.

I think he would have to really have a terrible year to get fired this year, like probably miss the tourney. So i doubt it happens.
To me we need to be a top 16 seed and be playing in the supers.
Lastly, its always fun to see the threads with suggestions for baseball coaches from fans who obviously dont know any of the successful coaches around the country. Blake dean is your choice? Of course he is, he played at LSU

There are some dumb fricks on here that do not know what Wade has done. These dumbasses think Dale Brown was great. Dale won maybe 3 SEC championships and 2 seconds in the 25 years he was here. Wade has 1 first and 1 second in 4 seasons. Don’t listen to those morons.

Could be said of every LSU HC. But I was talking about Maineri. He’s had multiple #1 classes, and 1 championship.

If he doesn't perform he will gracefully be escorted out by being nudged to retire.

When Skip was coaching, I looked forward to the excitement of The Winn-Dixie showdown and SEC Conference games. I kept a log book of the games and would go out if my way to hear games on KLSU or even attend all day regional games( while on vacation).
With Paul, I don’t feel that excitement of a pending season. I worry about losing half of our non conference games and the season isn’t exciting as losses mount. Sure , Paul has went on a winning streak after tax season but his teams have shite the bed in regionals and SR play. I don’t have confidence in his coaching or his assistants. Every game is a struggle and the team can’t hit above .300 in conference. The excitement is gone. The expectations are gone. It’s not fun.
