This might be the best team Paul has had in a while but the SEC is loaded with good teams. With only 5 rounds in the draft last year you have a ton off players that came back. I heard the other day TCU has 7 5th year seniors on their roster. Going to be tough but we are loaded as well.

I hear Blake dean is a major a-hole. Take it from a friend of mine who’s son played for UNO and graduated.

He’s also not even remotely a good coach and only has the job he does because he was cheaper than anyone else they could hire.

First Woodward is not going to risk firing a hall of fame coach for somebody that could actually turn out worse.
Secondly, let's say we lose in the Super and we can't pinpoint anything Mainieri did wrong do we fire him? Sometimes the players have to make plays.
He would really have to screw up to be booted.
Like him or not, he has a solid staff with solid players and he knows more about baseball than you do. Why try to look for the negative? Enjoy the season, have some optimism. We win it all this year.

I wish we could get somebody else.... he always has top 5 recruiting class, but he never has a deep pitching staff. This year because of Covid every body has a deep staff so we'll still get beat in the supers probably.

Head coach at Texas tech is pretty good. They'd only been to CWS twice in the their history and since he got there they've been to 5 in 7 years.

Great recruiter, below average coach. We’ve had top rated classes every year and have been an average SEC team. Vanderbilt and Florida have put LSU in the back seat. Definitely overdue for a coaching change.
