The rivalry would ignite into a fireball of hate on the level of a Yellowstone caldera.

Correct. Ole Miss doesn’t have the resources of the big brother teams in the SEC. I’m sure he can win 8 to 9 games on a yearly basis there but don’t see him taking it to the next level at Ole Miss. He is making about 4 million a year and I’m sure he’ll jump at the chance to double that.

Lane would win early then burn out. By burning out I mean co-eds boosters wives, recruits moms…but he’d win on and off the field. But risky hire following O

Exactly lol. People are bitching about O’s off the field antics. And they are all calling for Lane Kiffin. Can’t make this stuff up..

lane has never won anything as a head coach. Why do we want that giant douche again? Because he beat Louisville and Tulane?

Is it worth handing over the resources to somebody that might be able to be another Spurrier?
Risk with high reward too.

Lane Kiffin’s teams are soft. He was in a weak PAC12 and, even with sanctions, the teams were not physical or tough. He’s been at Ole Miss now two years and they aren’t tough. He can score points and call an offense, but he would be a massive fail at LSU.
