would Miles have still kicked Perriloux off the team? My opinion (just an opinion) is that by winning the NC, Miles knew that he would get a pass for this year and thus he felt secure enough to get rid of RP. Had Ohio St won, I believe that RP would still be here and that we would have one loss right now (UF). What say you?
The cynical assumption is that Miles character and ethics can be compromised in order to win. You couldn't be more wrong!!!!

thanks, another great contribution.
Sorry, I give up. It was too much to expect semi-intelligent thoughts on our coach and his decision making and the effect on the team.

I will consider that a compliment since the vast majority of posters on here couldn't put on a jock without an instructual manual and would shite themselves at the first opportunity to step onto a football field without the security blanket of carrying their tuba.

Without a BCS crown in his back pocket, Miles probably wouldn't have canned RP, probably wouldn't have hired the Co-DCs..
Hardware-in-hand, even of the twice-defeated variety, allows people the leeway to make Bill Clayesque moves!

I never quite got the causal connection between posting privileges and football skills.

So you're buying in to this cynical assumption also.

If both Florida and LSU lost to Ohio State the last two years, they should close each program down.
That was never going to happen.
That was never going to happen.

thank you for your opinion. You are the first one to actually offer an opinion instead of useless sarcasm.

I think/hope Miles would have enough character to kick off RP, anyway.

if...
Nick Saban came back as DC, and
Steve Spurrier came over as OC, and
Frank Beamer coached Special teams, and
Tim Tebow transferred over
we might not even have 1 loss
