OP asked what it meant if we lose. Nothing, does not mean I will not be cheering on the Tigers.

LSUcajun77 = scrotum breath

I am literally drowning in downvotes. Sometimes being so unlikable and cynical really sucks.

I hope we have a chance to run out the clock with 5 minutes left and throw a bomb! Petrino's face would be priceless.

I dont care whether we win or lose........I want to play the young guys for next year ......approach this game as an early scrimmage for 2017. Game reps for the younguns!

well the problem with the premise of your question is the fact that O was hired for "continuity"

he was hired to avoid the "transitional" period

that doesn't mean he isn't still coaching a team that is stuck using a CLM offense.

I'd prefer to play the upper classmen who may be playing in their last game as a Tiger. The young guys will get their shot.

Let's see here...hummm....Shorty, who is God to the tards, lost his last game at LSU, which happened to be against an inferior opponent...in a bowl game...but, but, but...of course, it wasn't his fault...remember...so he threw a Louisiana LSU player under the bus....why?...because he is a shite head! Live with it!

Will you be willing to accept that we are in a transitional period, or will everyone start blaming coach O and demanding he resign so we can land Bill Belichick?

LMAO. Preemptive excuses for losing a game we haven't even played yet.

It's just a game against two pretty evenly matched foes. How about you stop making it to be so much more than it is? If we win it doesn't mean we're going 14-0 next year and if we lose it doesn't mean we're going back to the DiNardo days.

it's one game man. one friggin' game. FSU got stomped by them. and how we lost would be damn important.

that being said, Louisville is a different team than we usually face so it may not represent anything. sure, bama and auburn play a lot of qb option but this qb can really throw the ball; hell, he won the Heisman.

lastly, I think Aranda can and will dial up a D which will put the onus for a victory squarely on the shoulders of our offense. I think Ensminger will want to go out a winner.

ok, now lastly, we ARE in a transistional period; new HC, new OC, etc

With the amount of time that will have passed between A&M game and the bowl, that is a transition in itself.

What happens vs. UL has very little bearing on next season...besides maybe a sneak peak at CMC's playbook.

Seeing as our TE coach will be calling plays for the bowl and the offense will be completely different next year, no.

The question is, if we lose did Chris Blair give Petrino the playbook??

With our ultra-complex Offense, who needs our current playbook?
