Unfair how? It was 11 on 11 in new orleans, LA
You have that much bama paranoia that you feel a one loss bama team gets in ahead of an undefeated florida state, west virginia, texas, oklahoma, stanford? Jesus H. Christ
Unfair because we had played a tougher schedule including a road game at Bama and an extra SEC championship game. We had less time to prepare before the NC and were more beat up. Make all the excuses you want, but it was a less fair game to the team that was more deserving of being there. Or do you want to argue Bama deserved to be there more than LSU?

We're a long way from saying that's even remotely likely this year
AKA: LSU hasn't won yet. They will roll with that story until LSU wins and then the talk will heat up. Although some are already calling it.
LSU has the advantage of a bye week and a home game. Those will become disadvantages when Saban uses them to argue his way into another rematch.

Maybe not, but when you have a group of teams with an identical record then more often than not the 2 best teams are ranked #1 and #2, there are a few instances where that isn't the case, but 95% of the time it plays out that way, just like last year
First, your earlier suggestion that the poster "think about that" implied that the two "best" teams are always ranked 1 and 2. You seem to now acknowlege that's not always the case.
Secondly, Bama and Okie may have each had one loss but they did not have "identical" records in terms of overall quality. Okie should've been #2, whether they were one of the two "best" teams or not, for all the reasons we've discussed here ad nauseum.

Bama only beat 3 teams with a WINNING RECORD
Six actually. Seven if you count LSU.
