Honestly what would we draw?

Bigger crowd than a baseball game? No way

Honestly, I think there's a little race-baiting hidden in that question- do you take solace in the whiteness of LSU baseball?

I'd probably go. We would get to see a team that we would probably otherwise never see in the PMAC.

We can always count on Dale Brown coming. What a great Tiger fan, he is.

I'd definitely go. Would be nice to get an interesting matchup in the first round. Ball State was a fun atmosphere; this article listed the attendance at 12,696. (for postseason I'm thinking that's actual attendance)

Yes, but people would be on here bitching about how nerdy the student section looks.

Maybe if we increase TRADITION FEES on season tickets we might get some butts in the seats ?? Good idea ??

Would like to get more season ticket holders there for sure.

It really bugs me that relatively few ex-players come and watch, even though loads of them still live locally or are relatively local.
A few drop in, but not many are regulars.
Notable attendees are, Ned Clarke, Bob Petit, Rudy Macklin, Collis Temple, Ralph Jukolla, Dale Brown.
My husband(ex-player)has been going to almost every game since he was out of LSU, and we travel to see them when possible.

Where's the rest of you guys?
Show your loyalty.

Who? ..........

Nope, but a teammate of his lives on my street - Tyrone Black.

BTW you'll note that all the ex-players noted are over 50.

I'd go, but also saw in Advocate article yesterday that LSU can't host due to women's hoops.

It takes very little time to turn over the PMAC from one even to another. I worked at the PMAC for a couple years while at LSU and we could switch it out from any event to another overnight. TV and media don't need more than a day either.

Well, the women do use smaller basketballs. That has to take 5 or 6 days to bring in! Yea, they can switch from gymnastics to basketball in less than day, but to go from a men's tournament game to a women's tournament game needs a week?

I was there for Ball St and while we lost, the atmosphere was awesome. Student section was packed to the brim. I think those bums hit 12 3's on us.
