I didn't say Saban, I said the ol' ball coach who is playing in the SECCG with essentially no talent when compared to LSU

Didn't Saban lose to Arky and Aubbie with his own team?

Hey genius, you do realize the yet another Saban thread you are posting in was started by a Saban hater, not someone sucking him off.

The amount of infatuation Saban gets from his jilted lovers on this board is sickening.

Yet, Saban's 3 loss team on a down year is going to go play a #8 team in the country in a higher bowl game than us.

woooops

I still believe LSU had more talent than Bama. And he beat ARKY. Lost to South Carolina. South Carolina is alot better than Tennessee

You can believe it with you want. It's a subjective idea and one that gets exploited on here on a regular basis.

QB - Edge Bama
RB - Edge Bama
WR - Slight Edge Bama
TE - Edge LSU
OL - Slight Edge Bama

DL - Edge LSU
LB - Edge Bama
DBs - Slight Edge LSU

Care to dispute any of these position comparisons with anything other than a "that's wrong" answer?

Didn't Saban go undefeated in regular season twice in a row? What about Miles?

2008: Auburn is in a down year, LSU is in a down year, Tenn is in a down year (3-0) against these teams

2009: Auburn is in a down year, LSU is in a down year, Tenn is in a down year (3-0) against these teams

2010: Auburn is in an up year, LSU is in an up year, Tenn is in a down year (1-2) against these teams.

Miles should have gone undefeated in 2007, I'll grant you that. In fact it's a travesty that it didn't happen. But one thing I'll give Saban is that in terms of the big picture, the stars always seem to align for that guy. My bet: Alabama loses to LSU and Arkansas next year but beats Auburn and Tennessee.

Not at LSU. Saban sucked at LSU. Miles averages 10 games a season.

So in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2010 all the SEC teams must have been in an up year correct?

No coach can win every game.

Some coaches can make games not painful to watch.

First national championship in how many years did Saban bring us?

You think Miles would have built what Saban did?

2005: Auburn up, Alabama up, Florida up
2006: Auburn up, Alabama down, Arkansas up, Florida up
2007: Auburn even, Alabama down, Florida down
2010: Auburn up, Alabama up, Florida down

So in 2005, we played a fricking hell of a schedule against very good teams that we play traditionally, and went 10-1.

In 2006, we lost to the two "up" contender programs that we face annually.

In 2007, we had some good fortunate with some of the teams being in down years.

In 2010, we played a hell of a schedule and lost to a very good Auburn team and a very good Arkansas team.

You really don't think that success is as much dependent on how good your team is as it is on how bad your opponent's team is?

If you're going to take pride in that second pic, it's time to GTFO.
