If JR had went to Bama, does he still get arrested in Mobile?

I'm no conspiracy theorist, but his bond was $2500.00. They couldn't have charged him with anything other than having cough syrup without a prescription. I believe in those cases, they can cite the offender and make him appear in court, but they don't have to arrest them. Just seems awfully petty to me.

Yes he still gets arrested.

Unless he could have figured out a way to play for Auburn and Alabama at the same time.

My question remains, was this really the result of a "sting"? Is this what we are doing with our tax dollars? AN investigation and sting operation that nets one guuy with one bottle of syrup?

Something is wierd about all of this. A $2500 bond arrest after spending 10's of thousands of dollars.

This is embarrasing. The city would earn more fines on a DWI offense.

Are you kidding...wasn't Keith McCants arrested?

On February 25, 2008, McCants was arrested by Mobile police on charges of loitering for the purpose of drug activity and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting bond.[1] McCants was convicted of the charges on October 14, 2008 and sentenced to one year of formal probation and a substance abuse program.[2] He was later arrested on October 20, 2009 for failure to show for a court appearance relating to the charges.

It is a felony. They don't release on summons for a felony. $2500 bond is low. It cost him about $325 to bond out of jail.

I don't know, but you should be arrested for using "had went to Bama."

Really?

He wasn't arrested for having "cough syrup". What JR is doing can be very addictive, and some people have OD'd on the stuff.

Bama was never really in the race to sign Russell. It was LSU, Florida, Auburn and Florida State if I remember correctly.
