And others, what exactly does he bring to the table.

Dunn is the pitching coach, so what is Cain doing?

Why dont we hire a hitting coach that can recruit at least as good as Cain??

Hughes was recruited and committed during the tenure of everyone’s favorite former hitting coach/recruiting coordinator.

Correct, and excellent point.

What's scary is that we haven't recruited anybody who can put Hughes on the bench.

This last class was a consensus No. 1 class nationally. So, should everyone everywhere lose their job? Or do you think it's a a development issue? Your post makes it seem like these players just suck and should not have been recruited at all.

Mathis shouldn't have been recruited at all.

Correct If he doesn’t have the final say on players then we’ve got a much bigger problem.

Funny thing is he committed to Louisville and thought he was enrolled but he fudged up his FASFA and had to go JUCO.

Because according to the rant, you’re not allowed to have your hitting coach be a paid employee. It’s gotta be a volunteer coach

Hughes has saved quite a few games with his glove, and won a couple with his bat too. Yes he is a liability at the plate but most teams, even top 10 level teams have someone who is a lower tier batter but play for their defensive skills.

Also, recruiting BB is harder because of the MLB draft. You can't recruit only top talent because too regularly you won't keep all those guys.
