Doesn’t sound like you’re real confident either. How will you react?

Depends, does Coach O tear his shirt off and dare anyone who questioned his ability as coach to fight him?

So he would need to do what has only been doing figuratively a “handfuls of Times here at LSU?

You act like 1-2 loss trees fall from the sky.

If O does badly, it’s 110% his fault. If LSU made the playoffs, he would get zero credit.

Do you understand the structure of what we are supposedly running? If LSU is winning that means O is being hands off and is letting coordinators coach and scheme and plan. I mean, should he get credit for being hands off? I guess Hiring yes, but game to game that doesn't mean as much. But the lion's share of winning is on the coaches who he is "letting coach."

If LSU is losing that means that the plan, his plan, is not working, which is his fault, but also that one of 1) The coaches he chose to "let coach" are not good choices, totally his fault or 2) He isn't letting the coaches coach or 3) The whole thing just doesn't work, mostly his fault.

Negativity is always going to be louder than positivity, but this plan, from the start, deploys pretty strange responsibilities. Ed Orgeron does not have the resume, expertise, strategical planning, to run either side of the ball, so on a game to game basis, the coordinators will get most of the credit. And if it goes poorly, it is MORE of a reflection on O than if it goes well.

So if he hands off, why should he get the blame? You cannot have it both ways.

Kind of sad that so many “fans” think anyone who even mentions the remote possible of success in football should be banned.
