Maybe we should hire JaMarcus as our QB coach then?

fricking stupid, but I'll play. Would you hire Shaq to coach post players? Todd Walker to coach infielders? Etc etc

He would be coaching linemen..not running the tram or offense!

Hey hey hey. JR is no where near the caliber of person/player/leader Kevin is. Come on.

I get the point, but don’t get offensive!

Guys, Cregg is a great hire, but let’s try to not end up slighting Kevin. He’s done nothing to deserve ridicule except love and bleed PNG.

Him as a shadow staff would be an excellent idea provided it wouldn’t cause friction with Cregg. He could gain valuable experience that way as well.

Why should that matter? He’s one of us!

Mawae and Gruden, the two coaches that tranters refuse to come to the realization they will never coach here.

How does anybody know that Mawae WASN"T considered? For all we know he and O had a very long conversation about him joining the staff. KM has always been a great ambassador, as have many ex-players, for LSU. I wish him nothing but the best personally and professionally. Would he be a good fit to coach our o-line? I have no clue.

LSU would NEVER hire a FB coach who had not proven to be consistently successful in the position for which he is being considered. Asl Joe Alleva.
It’s a rule...

Me too.
Talked with him before grimes hire and he told me he was interested in the job.

I also gathered he's big into his church and kids so the time issue might been a factor.
