TM7 was a turnover machine, In one of those passes, the honey badger would have had a pick 6. That kid truly loves the game of football but apparently he loves smoking weed the most..

That scoring play was a mental break down by someone in the secondary

It was a mental breakdown by the coaches for the gumps to even be in position to score.

forget the last drive, think of all the times we made BAMA punt........thats where the game would have been put away. theres no doubt in my mind he would have ran one back, maybe saban kicks it away from him but ........... ???

To the OP- yeah, I agree. McCarron was floating some nice passes over the shoulder of the WR to the sidelines on that drive. Honey badger wasn't gonna cover/break those up. Maybe the only thing would have been had he been blitzing and getting through that Iron Curtain of an O-line, and forced McCarron to move, but I doubt any coach would be sending a nickel blitz in that situation (and please remember Saban plays soft in that situation, too).

So, no, I don't think he matters on that drive. Was Reid in on the last drive? I think if he was healthy, the scoring play is stopped; but then Bama gets to chance a run or 2 with 50 secs left, from within the redzone. Again, not sure I like that either. I think Yeldon or Lacy would have scored.

Bama made some plays. What we needed was Brockers, not Mathieu.
