I want to head something off before it starts. . . (Lee vs. UF)

UF has the best defense we will have faced up to this point. They have a good pass rush, and a top notch secondary. To make matters worse, they are coming off a nationally televised shellacking. They will be hungry, with a 1st year coach still looking for a signature win.
Because of this, Lee will very likely have a rough game. They will apply pressure unlike he has faced yet. While I still think we will win, I don't expect stellar numbers from the passing game.
I want to make this clear: There is no QB on our roster who could have a good game under the above conditions.
A poor game by Lee will NOT mean it is time to change starters. It will mean exactly what it is. . .the starting QB had a rough game.
Now, if Lee comes in and has an amazing game, awesome. I just don't see it.
***DISCLAIMER: All of the above is my opinion, and I lack any real or mystical prognostication abilities. It is all speculative. It is sad that I have to type this disclaimer, but it is necessary.

I think Lee will do fine against UF. He's always been pretty good against them.

So they have an Oregon type of defense?

Opinion noted. And considering the source, not unexpected.

that doesnt make a shite to me, their 220 lb DE and 5 foot nothing 170 lb CBs wont want anymore midway 3rd quarter

Except their best player on defense will be playing.

I think Mett could. If this were in Gainesville I would agree with your statement. But being in Death Valley I think he would relax and have a great game. I think fundamentally he is already better then Lee or Jefferson. Just lacks the leadership.

So why should the typical LSU fan be any less confident about UF's defense is they are similar to Oregon? I would think that this bods well for us seeing as we were able to move on Oregon in the second half.

My apologies, I've only heard you salivating over JJ. Clearly, I'm not paying attention.

Didn't they have 7 called PI in one game?

On this board...no way!
I do agree its the best "D" to date. But I think Lee has a good game against them. Short passing game and YAC.

To put it plainly.
They are similar to OU in how they look. The similarity ceases at that point.

If les let's him let er rip, UF could have 6 or 7 pass interference penalties.
They are Undisciplined.

I've only heard you salivating over JJ.
I also defend all players against bullshite attacks. JJ gets attacked on here more than most, so I have more opportunity to defend him.
That also pisses you off.
I am an LSU fan, not the fan of {insert individual player here}.
And, once again, that pisses you off.
