I think we take this season one game at a time and this team will get better each week

Look I am not saying 10 wins but we can reach at least 8 or 9 wins. I think with Max and Peez the more we play the better we get. We have found our 4 receivers( Boutte, Smith, Bech, Thomas). The limitations that keep us at 8 or 9 wins on offense are at Oline and running back. Kiner can get us more production with more playing time. Oline let’s just hope we find 5 guys that can improve weekly. Defense has shown improvement and I think this defense can be top 5 in the SEC if we don’t give us the blown coverage bs and Damone Clark can play like he did last night. One thing about Coach O he seems to overcome adversity and his team seems to get better from it. I say let’s take it one week at a time in the SEC and if we keep improving I think we will do a lot better than people expected after the first game. I know the glass is half full this morning but

LSU doesn’t feel like LSU anymore.
These guys don’t look like what their recruiting rankings indicate.
I hope you’re right. We will get a real good idea of how good we are when we play State next week, and Auburn in two weeks.

I still think another receiver will break out whether it’s kirklin, nabers, or palmer. Someone else gonna are up. This receiver group is stacked.

In the SEC, I think Miss st, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Texas a&m are beatable. That doesn’t mean we win them all, just that the games to me are 50/50 or better. I think Bama, Florida, Auburn, and Ole Miss are losses. That means 7-5 at best to me. Our Oline is our biggest weakness. The defense is getting better but not nearly good enough to handle SEC offenses. Johnson will be running for his life most games.

Glad for the win but I saw nothing to make me believe this team will reach .500 in the SEC.

Defense is top 5 if we stop the blown coverages and if we get one healthy unit on the Oline I think we have a chance. Let’s give our new Oline coach a chance . Peez I think can and will get better and if anything we have learned that a Coaches son or a ex NFL players son can and will improve as the season goes on. This Offense will score points and is getting better.

One week at a time is all we can do. What we need is to avoid big injuries. Hopefully Anthony just has a sprain.
