But I don't think the rest of our opponents are as good as MSU and Auburn. After yesterday, I expect a 5-3 SEC record.

This win felt like a loss to me. I've never seen two teams try so hard to lose a game. Florida tried to lose harder. 5-3 in the sec is a pipe dream.

no, people are just happier with a win compared to a loss

I don't think there's any sense of false security. No one thinks we're going to magically win the conference now. This thread is dumb.

Having said that, a win in the swamp is a win in the swamp. And although the game was ugly, we had clutch offensive and defensive drives when we absolutely had to have them. There were several good things for our young team to take from this win last night.

But of course we will have negative assholes such as yourself criticizing a win. Outstanding job.

I love how the old SEC motto of "no such thing as a bad SEC win" gets thrown out the window when you're a rebuilding team instead of a contending team.

Seriously, gfy.

I don't think you hear anyone bragging, saying LSU has turned the corner. Most recognize it for what it was, a tough road win against a team with a poor offense.

However, poor offense or not from Florida, this team gained some confidence, and did some things during the game that will help us going forward. Made MANY mistakes last night, but came away with the W.....some of those mistakes can be fixed...now that we have specific things to work on.

You sound like a troll, but LSU has already played the best two teams and offenses in the SEC this year. LF is starting to get going now and the coaches are actually letting him. Jennings will get better, although probably never be great. People forget that was only his fourth quality team that he has started against.....People forget he is still young.

Bama's QB does not look good, A&M's Qb is getting exposed now. Arky QB is not that great either. Bo Wallace you never know what you are going to get.

You can come on here and try to make the win last night a negative, but, you are wrong. The team did a lot of growing up last night.

I will agree here. Bama is beatable as is A & M. We can even beat Ole Miss is things fall right .But it all starts with Kentucky next week. One game at a time.

But, there are many issues with this team. It isn't singularly one area.

yes, we know there are many issues and we also know that they won't get fixed all at once. But last night was the first step we needed in a positive direction. The SEC is nuts this year. So relax Betty, put the bucket back on your head and enjoy the ride!

I have seen posters that are more of an a/h than you on here, I won't lie, but that doesn't make you less of an a/h.

Those guys, both young and old, fought like hell last night in a hostile environment and pulled out a W. So, gfy. How about the defense, stopping Florida on the goal-line after the special teams gave them a gift for the second time.....yes TE dropped ball...but DL stopped the damn run. Offense made plays when they had to. Overcame hostile crowd, and many stupid penalties. I saw a lot to be encouraged about last night. Again, gfy.

This is 100% spot on. LSU gained a LOT of confidence last night with a win in a hostile environment...and they overcame a lot of obstacles.

IF LSU can continue to build upon that, and get a win against an improved 5-1 Kentucky team(probably should be 6-0)....that will be another huge step to build upon that confidence. IF that happens, I think that is going to be a very special atmosphere when Ole Miss comes to town....If that game goes like I think it could...I don't think you will see fans leaving early. I think it is going to be one to remember for a long time.

yea, Bama, A&M and Arky looked great yesterday!!!

Agreed. I'm not saying we would be favored in either of the three games, but I just feel we have a good shot to keep it close and then who knows
