I think the LSU defense...

...will look like an entirely different team Saturday night. I actually am starting to think that MIles and Chavis have been holding back the D. This may end up being a great game.

Funny, same thing most of the board has been saying for 2-3 years now. A lot of people fee like these coaches are holding back the talent on this team!

Don't raise people's hopes here.

I think the defense played a hell of a game against UGA. Florida is a lot better and were going to have to play one of our best games to beat them. That also goes for Alabama. U guys and Florida are playing good ball each and every week, we have played good ball for one week. So we will just have to see

Well, won't probably see Tebow running the ball 15 times. So far, he's accounted for 20% of their total plays (55 rushes out of 275 total plays). Either they pass more or give the ball more often to Demp, Rainey and Moody. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Not sure about the holding back part, but the D is definitely starting to come together. If we could just get some pressure on the QB, we'd be there.
Agree that the game this week should be a great game. I feel much better about the UF game right now than I did a week ago. I hope Tebow plays so there is no damn whining if we pull out another close one.

I hope we see pretty much that SAME defense against Florida. The D has been much maligned but they have made improvements. Last night wasn't a huge improvement it is just that they most people don't realize that they have actually been playing better and better and aren't sucking as much as people have been thinking.
If they can improve on this past saturdays game just a little they will have played a defensive game fitting to be called a good tiger type D.
The difference this year over past defenses is that they aren't (at least not yet) worth a crap at actually getting to the qb. They can sometimes get pressure but rarely close the deal.
Our DB's played one of the best games our dbs have ever played. Seems like even the plays that Georgia did make were made on covered receivers for the most part.
All we lack for the D is ONE animal beast on the line to elevate the defensive lines play just a little.
