Easy there, tiger. We'll have to do a little better offensively to get that against an SEC schedule.

yeah, but Tyrann's gonna either score or set up 1 TD a game. so I'm factoring that in too.

Too early to tell. I thought the play calling was anything but clever or deceptive. Pretty standard stuff - borderline boring (but effective).

Once again, EXECUTION was mediocre.

Execution was a lot better than last year. The offense was simplified. And that's what we needed.

Fewer formations and shitting = fewer illegal subs and delay of game.

We couldn't (and still can't) throw our way out of 1st and 15.

Everything worked well except for our receivers. OBJ looked very good, but we need Shep back to give us someone that can make things happen in space.

Yeah - but I do sorely miss the option to the short side anytime we need to lose five yards.

We ran six play action passes last night. That's more than we did all last year.

Basically Les said we are gonna run it down your throat... So go ahead and try and stop us if you can. We all saw how that turned out. Pretty safe to say we are gonna play stout "D", solid special teams (minus
the missed extra pt -- WTF --) and smash mouth running game.... Everyone knows what's coming, but can they stop us??? And OMG, TM7 may be one of our best Tigers to ever wear the purple & gold

GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of LSU fans tried to pin the woes of the offense on Miles, so I guess to them it may be a breakthrough.
And, that's the way it should be. He's the head coach. He hires the assistant coaches. He is responsible for their performance. And, I think he's done a pretty good job, with the notable exception of the co-defensive coordinators.

Regarding Crowton, I am not so sure that he's not a very good coach. I remember the last guy who had his job at LSU before him. Everyone was sooo relieved when he left and moved to Florida State.
