Does LSU have to have JJ's coming out party to win?

I think it's safe to say we wouldn't have won that game without JJ.

Also, RR should have caught that ball in the end zone.

We will need both QBs to finish this season with a win in the BCSNC game.

I was wrong.
JJ played a bigger role than any of those guys I listed.
I should have prefaced by saying if our offense was able to perfrom the way they did the previous 8 games JJ most likely woulnt be a factor.

I thought alabama's defense made us look stupid on offense.
Too big and fast and physical.

JJ's abilitty to elude rush and MF's edge running was the difference.
EReid played lights out and our def in 2nd half vs TRich was phenominal.

IMO, defensivley nobody will test us like that rest of the year.
If we run the ball effectivley JL is our qb... with JJ coming in as he has done so far this year.
If we cant run it, JJ brings something to help us.

+1

I still want JL as the starter, because against lesser defenses, he gives us the best chance at scoring more points. But damn... JJ came in and ran the option really well, and was about half an inch off from a nice TD pass to Randle.

True it was a bad pass but had JL thrown that pass everyone would have been saying it was a drop. Just look at threads in sept/october complaining about all the drops. Sure some were but some were bad passes just like the one JJ threw sat.

how was that a bad pass, it hit him in the hands. Yes he had to reach for it but isnt that what good receivers do.

It would have taken an exceptional to catch to haul it in.

Just b/c a receiver is able to get his hands on a ball does not make it a good pass or catchable.

Had RR made that catch it would have made plays of the day.

I initially thought it should have been caught, but watching the replay it was obvious it would have been a heck of a catch if RR came down with it.

He basically only got finger tips on it.

I think that if anyone is talking about JJ after the game, then we lost. The only game changing play that I think he would make would be a turnover.

i was wrong about this.

Instead, I hope he just comes in and plays steady like he has all year. No need for the dramatic. Just do what he's done all year and we'll be fine.

correct about this. JJ didn't make a game changing play. He just came in and took care of business like he has since his return. Kudos to him. Without him we would have lost.
