You should let Kelly know your feelings.

I don't blame anyone for timing of promotions in any profession, especially coaching. There's only so many teams and so many positions, he would be a fool to turn down a DL coaching job in the NFL no matter when that opportunity comes because you may never get it again. That's one of those things in life you can be selfish about. It's your career, do what's best for you and your family.

to leave in the middle of spring practice. I understand that he wants to coach in the NFL, but no need to jump on the first offer and leave the team in a bind. He would have received other offers in the future-possibly even better. BTW this is the second time Payton has fricked LSU

What were your feelings when Brian Kelly left Notre Dame prior to a New Year Six bowl?

guessing you either have no job and never have or you have never switched jobs. Of course it is a selfish move. You are open to other opportunities to further advance your career, work/life balance, income, family etc. It is always a selfish move and should be. Some people are fine where they are at and stay satisfied forever. Others want more and are always looking for a better situation or advancement in their eyes. It is not that one is right or wrong. Each to his own.

So if you got offered a job that furthers your career you wouldn't take it? Good luck Jamar Cain and on to the next coach.

That’s not a given

Would you turn down a promotion plus living in a way nicer, crime free area?
