Lee was the backup QB at the start of the season. A suspension forced him into the lineup and he played well. I would think in most cases the starter would get his job back immediately (the Kentucky game) but Les chose to make a gradual transition, giving JJ a little more playing time each week before the changing of the guard in the 2nd half of the Bama game.

It is what it is, and LSU is winning. I'm stoked about this run. However, if you look at this with an non-biased, objective eyes, you cannot say that this QB situation was "normal". I don't know what has gone down, but you have to admit something has happened behind the scenes. Les "rushed" to get JJ back in the line up in spite of being undefeated. JJ is not "hands down" the obvious choice, but we are lucky to have 2 QBs, that at times can win. AS stated, I am wanting to hear, in a couple of years, what really went down.

In the coaches eyes, JJ is the obvious choice. It's not hard to understand, there isn't anything that went on behind the scenes. Lee started because of the suspension. When JJ came back the staff got him ready to start again. It's actually really simple.

I think this thought that "it's very simple" is what makes for all the controversy. I'm loving this season, but JJ being the "choice" tells me there's more to it behind the scenes. How many times has JJ had bad games and always got the start? It's a dead horse.

Stop! You're going to ruin the "Team Sweep/ Swag/ U Mad?!" perfect narrative in which they are the heroes fighting off those swine "haters!" They are the ones who don't possess a bias and only seek fairness and equality! Don't you dare remind them how full of shite they are.

They do lose sleep over that. Seriously.

Dude, you can't make statements like this. He throws for more than 100 yards passing and he's one of the all time lsu greats!

HAHHAHA

So if JJ does not outperform JL in practice and you clearly think he does not, then why did the coaches announce him as starter before the shady's incident? And why is he the starter now after JL played so great? I guess you know more than our coaching staff
obviously, its because Miles loves JJ so much, he would put his and his staff careers on the line in order for JJ to play.

J Lee leaves LSU with 2 national championships - how many QB's can say that? (assuming LSU wins the NC this year)

Jesus, you guys are some crazy crying fans. Oh no my favorite player got replaced by me least favorite player, it must be some grand conspiracy. JJ is playing better than lee now and played better the second half of last year.

There also must be something going on behind the scenes with ware, now that Hilliard is taking some of his snaps. Or does that only work for QBs?
