While there are certain things to complain about with Alleva the football coaching hire isn't one. For one important fact missed, Aranda is probably the greatest coaching asistant out there, he's a genius and Aranda places great confidence in coach O and has great comfort working with coach O. I trust Aranda's judgement here, Joe Alleva obviously trusted Aranda's judgement too along with others he talked too before hiring Orgeron. Joe Alleva hasn't always made the right call, but this time he did, he made the tough call and the right call. Thanks Joe.

Not saying he did a good job but not saying it was bad. I'm glad we hired O and that's all that mattered to me. We got a coach who was a potential candidate from the beginning. He's not a money whore like Fisher who never really wanted to be here anyway!

So you now decide to trust JA because it falls in line with what you wanted? How big of you.

Wish I could down vote this stupid drivel more.

frick Joe Alleva. His plan was "pray Orgeron won every game but Bama" then we lost to Florida. So then Alleva goes shite what if he loses to A&M too guess I should start my coaching "search." Then we beat A&M and he thanks god cause he knows the fools will eat up the hire. Did I mention frick Joe Alleva?

One person both O supporters and non supporters hate is Joe Alleva. He is a clown show. You are the first one to support him.

Tough call? Maybe. The right call? Hell no!

His list of possible candidates for the most important coaching hire at LSU consisted of only 3 men. That's laughable.

I don't care how you vote, don't care for the whining either. We've become a nation of whiners, not thinkers and doers. I'm much more likely to trust the genius, Dave Aranda, than a whiny stupid person like yourself and others.

What do you recommend people "do" about a coaching hire for their favorite team that they aren't fond of? It's a message board, dude. Where people express their opinions on sports.

frick. I keep seeing this stupid shite. This isn't true. Even a pig fan came on here the other day and said that Alleva talked to Dan Enos. You have no idea who he talked to and who he didn't. His top 3 were jimbo, Herman, and O. In that order. Every story that is out says that.

You don't see the inherent problem with O being his 3rd option?

No, I do not. Not to mention, do we really know if O was his 3rd option initially, or if he became the 3rd option after the interview?

Alleva talked to a lot of coaches, many who refused to be named. These idiot fuks who post here are clueless.

He negotiates like a donkey or premenstrual teeny bopper. The worst thing to happen to LSU since Joe Dean.
