yes, but why represent the home university in which you chose not to attend?

People just don't realize how special his Jr. year was. He was THE BEST QB in the entire country that year by far.

+18000000
But only woulda like to have him for 1 more year. They move on in college.
JR was just incredible to watch. To me, it was like watching the Pistol.

It's just simply amazing and a bit baffling that people don't.

It blows my mind to think that people hated him here

quote:Because some people can only see in terms of race, and thus anytime someone disagrees with them regarding two players of different race, they believe they have discovered racism. And, since they are also shite-stirring bitches, they have to constantly bring it up to show how much better they are than everyone else because they are "cool" enough to hate the white players.
Why do we have to compare them anyway.
Tell them Trent Dilfer is a better QB than Dan Marino because Dilfer has a ring, and they'll call you an idiot. Tell them Matt Flynn is a better QB than JaMarcus because Flynn has a ring, and they'll call you a racist. It's pretty sad, embarassingly hypocritical, and tragically ironic.

Even after 3 years, I still miss Jamarcus Russell. And despite the huge amount of excitement I have for Jordan Jefferson and Russell Shepard, every time I see him play I can't help but wish he was still our QB.
It blows my mind to think that people hated him here and wanted Matt Flynn to play ahead of him. This guy was so special and was one of the best talents to ever play at LSU.
Russell = sugar bowl victory
flynn = BCS championship
While I agree he was the most talented qb ever to play at LSU, he was not the best leader and did not have the best intangibles.
anyone who argues that is just foolish

Or at Alabama or at Tennessee. Morons rule the Rant.

quote:"Leadership" is pretty subjective term so I won't disagree with your evaluation of that, but in my opinion that game was not one of the better examples of his leadership. In my opinion, that game was much MUCH more an example of his mind-boggling playmaking ability. I think the Tennessee '06, Auburn '06 and CapOne bowl performances showed more leadership than that game (and, yes, I am of the opinion that great leadership can be shown and the game still be lost).

if early drops the ball, how great of a leader is he then. leaders do not win/lose games. dont give him all the credit for the damn victory. everybody contributed equally. I hate when you morons use the outcome of a game to gauge leadership
