Ha, ha

Okay, I think the point was made. Loved Matt Flynn; I have to admit that cussed Mauck more than once, but still appreciate what he did for LSU.

But neither of those are in the same league as JR. I'll keep the objective evidence, you keep the selective memory.

It just shows that most players strive for championships and don't care what your stats are, and FWIW, I judge QB skills in the NFL, stats on a college level are pretty much meaningless EXAMPLE

Do you think JL is a better QB than Matt Stafford?

and before you answer that I suggest looking up the stats for their freshman year... you might be surprised

And one of the greatest college QBs ever Tim Tebow isn't even guaranteed to be selected in the top 10!!

It means college stats are frickING pointless in determining how good a QB is!!!!!!!!

So just b/c you have better stats does not mean are better QB

God you are frickING RETARDED

Last time I looked football is a game of winning and losing. A qb like Flynn/Mauck, clearly with less raw physical talent than JR that wins championships is a better qb IMHO. They made better game decisions and had better natural insticts thus making them better overall QB's. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree.

my god this is crazy. Not only are JR stats better than Flynn's stats. He beat him out head to head. He wa not dumb. He threw less int than Flynm when everyone in the stadium knew we were throwing the ball. We had 0 running game till KW finally got some carries. Like i said earlier you can say you like Flynn more cause he brought us a ring but dont say its because he was a better qb because every stat and the fact that the coaches who get paid to put the best players on the field thought he was a better qb. JR was the best.qb in the nation in his junior year. Flynn wasnt the best qb in the nation his swnior year. Its to the point where i feel sorry for the people that sit here and say how dumb he was cause it definately makes you look racist cause he made far less mistakes with no running game. Oh yeah. #1 OVERALL PICK AND A 7TH ROUNDER. COME ON RANTERDS YOU DONT HVE TO BELITTLE ONE PLAYER YOU POINT OUT THAT YOU LIKE ANOTHER PLAYER BETTER

ESPN.com good enough

3129/232 = 13.48 yards per completion

I'm sure your not the one who brought up yards/ completion but that is not a really important stat at all, which is why you can't find that stat easily and why you have to do your own calculations

No shite; remember when Flynn helped Pitt beat West Virginia to win that championship? Remember how great Flynn played in the SEC Championship game? That shite was awesome. Whutafrickin leader that guy was.

actually our offense wasn't really productive in that TN game... prolly could have used him, our defense won us that game

still though...helping Pitt beat West Virginia was a thing of beauty. I mean he throws an interception on the last play of the last regular season game of the year with a trip to the national championship on the line and just said "frick IT, I'M GOIN' TO THE BACKYARD BRAWL CUZ PITT AIN'T LOSIN' THAT shite"

well he can only control what LSU can do, and every year there are reasons outside of your play that you are either in or out of the National Championship game, I mean even if you go undefeated it doesn't guarantee you a chance in the championship game, so whether you like it or not he led us to a national championship just as much as any other QB who has ever made the game in years past

Exactly. Just because something was outside of Flynn's control or even if the stuff in his control like throwing an interception on the final play of the season to go to the BCS title game didn't quite go his way....that shite didn't stop him from WILLING pitt to victory over WV. Jamarcus wouldn't have even tried to help Pitt win because he's lazynshit and because he's black. Flynn? That's a different story.

It's a good thing he did use his mind control shite to pull out that victory vs. WV....otherwise he'd be a suckass QB.
