They are, but they're gone tomorrow.

As far as classification goes we are a minor mid-major at best. This is light years beyond where we have ever been before. Just being in the Super Regional is beyond all of the Seawolves wildest dreams. Before this weekend Stony Brooks greatest athletic accomplishment was hosting Illinois in an NIT basketball game. I am quite confident in saying that no one from SB expects you to show us any respect. We are just happy to be here. The team will show up tomorrow however and will play their hardest. If SB does somehow find a way to win and goes to Omaha it will change the Athletic at SB in ways i'm sure you guys can't even imagine. Being on this stage for even a brief moment is transformative for our program.

They are a dropped foul ball from Omaha and beat the best pitcher we have had since Ben McDonald today. They are better than us at almost every position.

It's a small miracle we are even getting to play tomorrow. The OP is an idiot.

MLB drafted lots of them.

They are not the 27 Yankees, but they can hit some and they have two pitchers.

I dont think either LSU or Stony Brook are memorable teams.

I have watched a few CWS and neither of them make me forget past champions Fullerton or Wichita State, or Stanford's champions.

Nice clutch hitting for those HRs to win the first one, but....I do think SB has outplayed LSU so far.

The fact is, no one who follows LSU could say for sure who LSU would pitch tomorrow. That's really bad to have to say when you are about to face a very nice hitting team.
The consensus seems to be that SB would crush Eades.
Maybe it will be a 9-8 game, LSU winning in the 9th.

how can you not respect them? theyve come into the most hostile environment in college baseball and handed it to us so far. they could have easily folded after the ending to game one, but they came out and dominated.

Your statement reminds me of the old saying that you obviously don't follow.

"its better to keep your mouth shut and be thought of as a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"

I am just as confident that Real LSU baseball fans have all the respect in the world for Stony Brook. When I saw how the LSU players talked about the Stony players that they had played against in the Cape. I have no doubt that LSU's team respects them as well.
