It was our first dog pile, we were neophytes. Next year and the year after when we dog pile after winning the Super Regional it will look much better. Geaux Seawolves!
Fans in the stands after the game were very classy giving SB a nice round of applause. This is by far the greatest moment in Stony Brook sports history. You guys have been there before in every sport and will be there again, and again, and again. I cannot overstate how big this is for Stony Brook. Hopefully there are bigger and better things to come for our athletics, but realistically this may be our crowning achievement ever. Thanks for lettine me read your boards for a week. Truly an honor watching such a passionate and devoted fan base at work.
2 run double = justice for the batter getting hit and umps trying to cheat.
I would bet my lunch money that the NY Post article on SB this morning is the first ever mention of SB baseball in that newspaper. If you aren't St John's you get no print in NYC. Newsday usually does a real good job of covering the Seawolves.
To be honest - im kind of nervous just being here. This is big time college sports and i'm way outta my league. I must say I did enjoy the Tiger fans attacks on the SB boards earlier in the week and really enjoy reading the posts here. One way or another i'll be gone forever tomorrow. Good Luck tomorrow.
I thought we would have a decent team but would run into the Seawolf buzzsaw in the Super Regional. I hate it when i'm right. Geaux Tigers!

I don't know. I think this Stony Brook team just might have our number this year. They have great hitting and their pitching is solid. The Seawolves probably win this 7-3. Just chalk this one up to destiny for the little guy. The good news is football practice starts in a few weeks. Geaux Tigers!
As far as classification goes we are a minor mid-major at best. This is light years beyond where we have ever been before. Just being in the Super Regional is beyond all of the Seawolves wildest dreams. Before this weekend Stony Brooks greatest athletic accomplishment was hosting Illinois in an NIT basketball game. I am quite confident in saying that no one from SB expects you to show us any respect. We are just happy to be here. The team will show up tomorrow however and will play their hardest. If SB does somehow find a way to win and goes to Omaha it will change the Athletic at SB in ways i'm sure you guys can't even imagine. Being on this stage for even a brief moment is transformative for our program.
