Sorry have to respone, they have to run the ball against stacked box be cause that is what Miles does. He did it against Miss State last year all game. Our best run of the night against Auby was against nine. Against Geoorgia in the SEC CG the whole second half and against Arkie, didn't matter. If they get them blocked it doesn'tt matter.

I refuse to believe LSU is bad as it appears offensively
I get what you are saying, but IMO LSU is better than this and shouldn't cut themselves short by trying to just "outlast" their opponents.

I guess I don't see it as cutting themselves short. I have to think that Miles sees the TO battle as the key to the outcome of games. That being the case, risky play calling would then actually be stupid. Why would you do it?

I'm telling you, I'm just about off this LM coaching wagon. I firmly believev this is a direct reflection of les miles and his offensive coaching philosophy.

I mean am I the only person that watches all these other teams zip it around all over the field???

I agree with you to a point. But how many of those teams have won championships?

Exactly. I watch West Virginia throw 5 wr sets out there, then watch our team run 1 receiver routes lol. It's embarassing. If Texas Tech and Baylor run fun offenses and score a ton of points, why can't and LSU team with more talent do it? What about all the teams that spread it out with freshman qb's and score a ton of points? Yet LSU qb's always look confused. Why does it not frustrate every single LSU fan to see freaking Towson sitting on our simple routes that our wr's run?

This x's a million. Watching the LSU offensive play like Ned & the First Reader is embarrassing.

I've saying this for weeks. Miles has simplified the offense to the point that it is stagnant. That's why the players are losing confidence. They are playing a step slower because the don't believe called plays will work. It blows my mind that we don't run out with 5 reciever sets to spread out a defense and cover the entire field. Not as a base but for God's sake do something different. Miles is about to lose this damn team if they don't open things up. They will not beat anyone of the next 3-4 opponents playing this style of offense I'm sorry. LSU was lucky last year to catch UF down and at home, this year whole different story. I just feel like this year is going to suck after watching the last two weeks and really form day one. The O-Line sucks and the recievers can't get open. Bad combination. Maybe if we ran more than 2-3 recievers routes Mett could find someone to throw to.

It's been proven time and time again......these offenses do not work against good to great defenses.

There aren't many out there...but LSU just happens to be one.

Having said this.......I'd like better creativity on Offense.

If they could execute the plays they do call correctly, it wouldn't look so bad
