2 things I do not understand and I wish someone here that's smarter than me would please answer.

1) why les miles insists on running he football between th tackles when the defense has us outnumbered by one or more players ( yes I'm referring stack box)

2) why we have this phobia it seems of throwing the ball acoss the middle of the field... Between numbers/hashes.
You know, let a guy catch while he's running full stride..if you've paid attention so far this year I'd be willing to bet anyone here that 80% of the throws we make are curls/out patterns to the sideline.

I watched college fb final and it seems to me we are the only school in division 1 tha has an issue with this.
Please someone help me understand.

Play calling is hurting this offense as much as oline/rbs/tos/and penalties.
Jmho.

I honestly wish I had an answer, because I have the questions. I have a very bad feeling about this team this year. For many, many reasons.

I have been saying this for a couple of years... what happen to the passing in the middle of the field..It would back up the linebackers and make them have to pay attention to out TE every once a while.... It is plain to see we will have to pass to win the big games let see if they open up the playbook also how about a screen pass to slow down the blitz

You are right. It's worse than it appears. next week could be very ugly.

miles needs to do SOMETHING to right the ship before it sinks.

also fake hand off have at least 3 WRs running down the field and the Cb's will bite...

If they could execute the plays they do call correctly, it wouldn't look so bad.

Copeland's injury sure doesn't help.

I like how the corners are playing 10yds off of our receivers and we run right to them and turn around to look for the ball.

maybe the JJ/J.Lee years have scarred ol' Les for life.

and to be fair to les......he can't make mett not overthrow wide open receivers, nor can he make our receivers have stone hands at random times in the game.

I ask myself #1 every game.

I guess Miles' thought process is that if you can run even with 8 in the box, you're going to win easily. But we just don't have the OLine to handle that. I don't think anyone does.

I've noticed #2 a lot as well. And once again my guess is we are trying to force the defense to cover the sidelines which will open up the power running game.

But neither work very well. We have to attempt deep passes early. Florida is going to stuff our running game if we don't make the safeties play pass coverage.

I mean am I the only person that watches all these other teams zip it around all over the field???
For sucks sake,, it's not that hard.

No wonder ZM looks dejected.
He'll n wonder JJ looked like he was always about to cry..

I'm telling you, I'm just about off this LM coaching wagon.
I firmly believev this is a direct reflection of les miles and his offensive coaching philosophy.

believe it. i refused to believe it until last night. this team has actually regressed on offense. i didn't think it was possible, but last night was a clusterfrick of epic proportions. i can't imagine what practices look like.

Not quite there yet, but beginning to wonder.

I am leaning this way as well.

Last night there were at least 2 passes thrown down the middle of the field on seem routes from the spread. One to Clement for 27 yards and one to Jacobs for 21 yards. There may have been a couple more, I cant remember.

Swap out OC's through the years and our offense puts out the same shitastic results.

Elite offensive recruits are going to stop believing that they will be successful here, and I can't blame them.
