Grateful that LSU had a better than expected year and glad that JD5 provided the spark to defeat Bama.

That said, man, I really hate QB drama of this nature. There’s embarrassment of riches QB battles and then there’s whatever this is shaping up to be. It’s just messy and irritating - one of those things that has second-order consequences. It clouds the off-season and messes with morale. Maybe it doesn’t divide a locker room, but it seems pretty clear who the WRs would favor. The whole thing feels like a recipe for a mess, and it’s a drag.

Not sure why so much talk about QBs? The special team, defense, and turnovers lost the game.

The only drama is in your head. Let the season play out man. No one knows if Daniels is going or staying. If he leaves, where’s the drama? If he stays, competition between highly talented players is a damn good thing.

Just about every position has these battles. Of course the QB position will get more media coverage but I don’t think it’s a bad thing. We have two capable QB’s. One got us all the way to the SEC championship and the other one balled out in it.

At least it’s not as bad the QB drama we had under Miles

Based off of receiver talent in the state recently and going forward it seems a no brained to go with more of a pocket passer. Historically the state has produced great RB’s as well, but not as many as the last few years. Every time the qb runs you take a potential big play away from a dynamic receiver.

I think I will rely on the man getting paid 9.5 million dollars to put the most talented players on the field. I know that is a strange concept.

You’ll get DVs but I agree. Happy to have a guy who was able to lead us to a division title in year 1 + two young guys with a metric sh*tton of upside.

Rant gonna rant. Don’t matter.

People gnashing teeth over who our starter is are prob the same ones who think a new president will make all their problems go away… every 4 years since they’ve been alive.

Also the FG unit… at a juncture where we were about to take an early lead but hey — carry on.

...... Boutte and Nabers both doubled their TDs on the year last night with 1 each.

You have an odd way of showing it. First mistake was coming to tRant. Second was starting another QB drama thread.
