I think O said this and that is why he is not listed as starter. What is wrong and he seems to have been injured a lot while at LSU.

Still will practice today. The way I understood it was that injuries have set him back to the point that he needs to earn his way back to starter role.

if he is injured after an entire offseason im not sure what the solution is. complete rest for a long time (no workouts, etc?). or a surgery of some sort, if applicable? seems like if surgery is the answer they would have done it already. bummed to hear the news.

unrelated to your post but also similarly weird with cameron wire. he has a lingering issue from last fall, and yet coach says he might be ready in a few weeks. im no medical person but is it normal for an injury to linger 9 months!?!?

I talked to some people close to him and that played with him in high school. They said it’s more about his effort and focus than his knees. That was a big knock on him coming into college as well. When he’s locked in, he’s almost unblockable. Just had to be more consistent.
