So what would happen if someone just nutted up and sat in the empty seats?

Event Staff would kindly ask them to vacate the premises.

Sorry to kinda hijack but I recently picked up a few season tickets from a buddy at work. Any idea where someone sitting in the 200’s near the K Lady could possibly have access to a beer outlet?

Why are the awesome seats behind home plate hardly ever filled? Even for regionals they’re not filled. If those tickets aren’t scanned a certain number of times then the seats should be up for grabs the next season.

You have obviously not seen the TAF fee for those seats. At that price they can show or no show and no one will ever care.

You can't do this. The marshals guard those seats and won't let you in without a ticket. But it's a good idea!

Takes more TAF points for a good baseball ticket than a good football ticket.

I bought some row 4 seats on stub hub before.

Primarily because you can't bring your beer out of Champions Club, so many are in there watching it on TV getting their grub and drink on.

Truly soaking up the ballpark experience eh?

I get it from a revenue standpoint and everything but yea it sucks that tickets are hard to come by and yet there are so many empty seats bc people go and watch it on tv while they socialize.

The club food at Alex Box is not very good--nothing like as good as in the South stadium club at Tiger Stadium. Why is that I wonder?

Tickets are not hard to come by. There are almost 100 tickets for sale on StubHub right now for tonight's game including grandstand seats for $15.00. Prime outfield seats are $12.00.

I use stub hub almost every weekend. I try to make at least one game a weekend. I have about a hundred mile round trip.

I would be very happy to split some chair back season tickets with somebody if they have them.

I was referring to buying them through LSU and for the more in demand games such as regionals. As the OP said, even during regionals and supers many of those seats are empty.

When you buy tickets through StubHub you ARE buying them through LSU since that website is what LSU uses now.

There were hundreds of tickets on StubHub for all of the LSU regional and super regional games last season.

I bought some extras for friends from out of town. I never paid more than $20/ticket.

I've used stubhub too. It's a good site. I got regional tickets through LSU. I just checked stubhub for tonight and only saw grandstand for $30/ticket. Or standing room only. You must've lucked out for super tickets if you got them on stubhub for $20 a piece. I paid way more than that for the 3 I bought off stubhub for supers.

I paid $100 each for the opening night tickets club level.

StubHub hammers you on the fees. I hope LSU is getting some of that.

Russian is right about a typical game. It is much cheaper than owning season tickets.

Yea the big advantage of season tickets is seems is first shot at postseason. I had to go stubhub route for supers and paid a lot but that's all that was available and we really wanted to go so I paid but it was much more than the usual price of the ticket I know.

Checking lsutix for 3 tickets for tonight and all they have is SRO.

When I posted earlier there were two tickets together in section 209 for $15/each. They've been bought. (Probably by someone on here who read my post before you did. )

There are still tickets in the grandstand for $19.50 and $25.00 in the same section (208) and row.

There will likely be more tickets available later today especially if we get a rain shower move through.

I bought two in the Champions Club Wednesday night (UNO) on the day of the game for $15/each and sold my two in the green seats for the same amount. Of course StubHub charges a fee for both buying and selling so it ended up costing me about $10 total to upgrade to the purple seats.

My point is it's not difficult to get tickets to games even on game day.
