We are fighting for a 9-7 record today in the SEC.

Plus, why are you all so insistently happy with perpetually having trouble with Ark/Bama/Miss?

Since when did this become acceptable? You all are acting like it's his right to have trouble with these teams over the last 5 years. I don't get it.

Maybe he does have a right to lose to these teams, but we also have a right to absolutely hate it......tack on another $4million a year.

*******He's losing to these teams......then Billing us for it. *******

Did not know there was a prerequisite for making relevant posts. Seems like he's making a sober observation that many Rantards don't have the balls to do and/or prefer to join the other lemmings going over the cliff.

Meyer QUIT on Florida IMO. He ran from the competition in the SEC. CLM will NEVER quit on this program or team. And I'd rather have him than a win-at-all cost Coach like Meyer who turned a blind eye to murder suspect (A. Hernandez) while under his watch.

CLM record no doubt would be even BETTER if he would have kept Ryan P. around, but he did what was best for the program. And for that he has my total respect.

I don't think CLM is a "bad" coach. I'm sorry to not want to stay in your limited stereotype box of good or bad posters here on the rant. What I do think is that Coach Miles is here 10 years; his coaching energy is looking like it's mostly done. He's not showing new things. He's repeating old and not totally successful patterns. He's not holding onto his teams - lots of departures for the NFL. He's got less of a lock on Louisiana talent. I'm sorry if reality isn't your cup of tea, but hey - it's Thanksgiving. Get a life. Go be with your friends and family. Enjoy some turkey. Watch the game and just know, agree with me or not, I'll be cheering for the same LSU team and coach as you will tonight. So Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Not until you tell me what a deul quarterback is.

Did you spell it that way in all of your alters?
But seriously how many are there?
Are the other names as dumb as this one?
How many more will you create?
Will your posts become more original or will you rely on the same old shite in each of them?

We just finished in the top 15. If we win out, we will be ranked. We are 28 now

The difference is that some of will be cheering for them to win and you will be cheering for them to lose to justify your position.

That's certainly worth $10 Million in coaching salaries.

Why are those outstanding players at LSU? They weren't for most of my 48 years on this planet. And isn't recruiting THE most important aspect of college athletics? Medicore coach? Have you looked at his record? Before you grant that success to those outstanding players who obviously come to LSU by default, take a look at many other historically great programs who have fallen on far worse times - you'll find that many have had numerous stellar recruiting classes yet still lost. Those players come to LSU for two reasons, which are interlinked: Les Miles, and WINNING. While Fulmer was at Tennessee, great players went there for similar reasons. They ditched Fulmer, they stopped winning, and guess what? The players stopped coming.

Why is it that all these habitual Miles bashers type in Internet Illiterate?

Of course, I acknowledge this could be a trolling alter.

Here's my 2 cents:
Coach Les Miles is good for the University experience. He is dedicated to bringing young men to the point of maturity, not just to win college games.
Losing is a real component to life. The drafted, game professional is better prepped for success as they leave LSU, stronger for their experience there.
He is genuine; not angry all the time.
Could his talent play for a saban-type and experience a greater winning percentage? Possibly. There can only be one champion per season and it would be fantastic (literally) if the Tigers won every contest. But eventually, I'd end up like a Bamtard if in that camp.
Conclusion: CLM is good for LSU.

Happy thanksgiving!
I'm out.

He has won at an unprecedented rate in LSU history. Won multiple SEC titles and went to multiple NCs. He does so running a clean and respectable program. Go look at the UM message boards. They would love to have him.

I am sorry you have not been able to enjoy this. It is, after all, just sports. Hopefully, you view the rest of your life through a different lens.

Fact: Louisiana, per capita, produces more NFL talent than any state in the country.

Fact: Les Constantly has issues producing stability at the QB spot. That position cost this team the 2011 national championship. If Mett hadn't got kicked out of UGA, how bad would the QB position look at LSU for the last 7 years?

Les has produced a lot of wins....Some say "that's awesome, there's no more room for criticism and we can't get any better"

Some people, such as myself, see room for improvement. Some people don't like seeing another shite show at QB and knowing where this season will end....Good defensive season wasted on ineptness at QB. Teams lose players to the draft...all of them do. LSU's coaches get PAID to overcome obstacles.

I just don't understand why some of you think that a fan is supposed to accept the status QUO. It's as if I should accept being force fed a product that could be better. Is that not why one competes? I'm not competing on the field, but coaches are paid to...So, shouldn't Les be able to get a QB at LSU that can break that mystical 100 yard mark in a game?

I don't care how many wins he's got. He's clearly got a problem managing QB talent. Just imagine what the program would look like if Les could do what many other coaches around the country can....Pass the ball. I mean, if AJ is that bad, what does that say about Harris if he can't see the field? If you are going to accept this kind of QB performance every Saturday, as a coach, you've already started the game behind 10-14 points because you refuse to try something. Try a damn flea flicker or something besides 2 wideouts.

Then you should change your priorities. Winning us all that matters. Thats it. I dont care if our offense looks inept, if we win. 5 years from now, no one will give shite how our offense looked , theyll only look at our win/loss record.

Yeah if only we passed more during miles tenure then lsu might have more wins than any p5 program, might have beaten more ranked teams than any program, lsu may have been ranked in the top 25 more weeks than any other program in cfb. OH WAIT. all those things are already true.
Do posters not understand that the reason we usually thump those high powered offenses is because we have a ball controlled offense that keeps their offense off of the field and doesnt let them get into a rhythm? Thats why Miles has such a great record against these spread teams.
